Gettin' Sketchy with some Throw Down!

Yep, friends! Today was my day to GET SKETCHY & THROWDOWN! {Acutally, it was my day to clean house and a closet or two... HA HA!} Creatively, I arrived at a place in my travels... where composition and color came together with inspiration, complimentary to several of my favorite challenge destinations... So there {vacuum cleaner!}...! This is what happened...

I got busy with these colors:

Then I did this:

Because I was transfixed with these:

Neopolitan, anyone?

I used my special, custom patterned paper with this:

And THESE! (New Hero Arts Stamps!)

And then, there was... this!

And I was happy! {The house and closets can wait!}

The END!

{Did you ever think I could be so *concise? HA HA!}

Stamping is always much more fun than cleaning....love the "ice cream" theme you have going on here! Of course, mushroom ice cream is another thing. Did you know (of course you didn't) that I live right next to Kennett Square, the "MUSHROOM CAPITAL OF THE WORLD"? So this card really makes me smile!

Hey you! Love that little 'shroom card so much! When it comes to housework these days I have to bribe myself... vacuum downstairs and you can look at some blogs.... do the laundry and you can make a card etc etc. It seems to work! Great use of the sketch and those colours are a dream. Such a cute stamp set and as always I love the way you have used them. Big hugs to you special girl, Jo x

Ha ha you're so funny. And you know I'm so glad to see that someone else is using their rollers. I so DO NOT use mine anymore, and found them all the other day when I was organizing. Poor stamps. Love those stamps girl.

First off: Why do you think closets have doors! So no one ever knows we haven’t cleaned them out ...duh!
Vacuums were created by men so let them use the dang things!
Ok now, crawling down off my soapbox (well actually more of a soap pumper bottle thingy) I love the card. Your "custom" backgrounds have the absolute perfect amount of whimsy in them required for this particular set of stamps. Yep I am sure that the whimsy percentage is listed on the back of the packaging. How lucky for you that you achieved that perfect percentage without checking the requirements on the packaging first...ummm.
Back on the card, although artichoke and rose make a delicious salad, try avocado and fresh peach next time. ummm yumm!

Your ole (thrilled to be) bloggy friend, Oz

Your MUSHROOMS!!!! ;-> :> They came out sooo cute as did your neopolitan! Soooo.....if this is what happens when you have closets to clean on your 'to do' list, then, by all means keep them on your list for a good while longer as they seem to add a little spark to your already crackling creative fire!! :>
