Hello, lovey-dovey!

Yesssssss!

I'm over-flowing with love! Valentine's Day is looming and my heart is full... of CRAFTINESS! I'm swooning with joy and having a wonderful time playing with some fantastic new stamp sets from the super craftilicious design-babe, Dawn Woleslagle! She was kind enough to send out the first, four stamp sets, of her new release, for WPLUS9designstudio, LLC.... {Wahooo, Dawn!} The perks of the DT position abound! Soon, you, too can enjoy the perks ~ her gorgeous stamps available for purchase! Her website is nearly ready and open for business - visit her site for THAT!

Anywhoo, I've been concentrating on an adorable set, called "Love Birds"...

I made these mini gift cards, in celebration of the terrific sentiments and an obvious, seasonal, love of the colors pink pirouette, rich razzleberry, melon mambo, etc....

It's an easy fit, my heart, these stamps, this holiday and me! {Got sweet hearts, anyone?}

I'm a sucker for a circular sentiment and I adore "{heart} you tons", PLUS, there was enough space around the center of the circle for me to make it into a heart for the card, below!

I had a lot of fun with the clear "advantage" of these polymer stamps... I had a blast with some background inking and the highlighting of the word, Birdie in this terrific "Some Birdie Loves You!" sentiment... Of course, I had to get personal with the lil' bird and wipe away the ink from his tummy to give it a downy feel! Hee HEEEEEEEEEEE! {I'm such a trouble maker!} But isn't that what is SUCH fun about stamping - we can alter and interpret or just celebrate an image straight "out of the box!" Oh, the possibility!

I really love the fonts Dawn used in this set... They are classic, yet bold, but easy to read! Not to mention, extremely inkable! I was delighted to note how happily these babies accepted the ink and stamped super cleanly! It's been a tough conversion for me to polymer {I was a rotten sport when I used my first clear stamp way back when!} but I think there's been a lot of improvement and Dawn has used a real high quality material and it shows! Yeah, evolution that benefits STAMPERS! That's cool!

So, THAT WAS FUN! I'm delighted and proud to be included in Dawn's fantastic new enterprise! I hope you'll take some time to check out her AMAZING samples with all of the sets, thus far, but also, please visit Maile, Savitri and Kerrianne! They have been up to all kinds of fabulousness with these babies, so, by all means - go be inspired!

Meanwhile, I'm fixin' to be inspired by you all! While husband's enthralled in some Superbowl, I plan to get some serious BLOG-TIME in {"Wha? Honey, of course I saw that play!" type*type*type! Hee Hee} Oh, c'mon! I like football, but SERIOUSLY, been there DONE that! These days some "SUPER-BLOG" sounds a bit more fun for the old "E-stir!" Heh Heh!

See you soon!

Hi Elise, these are fabulous!!!!!!!! You've made magic with these lovely stamps. Oooooh, those colours - fresh and funky and good enough to eat. It's so good to have you back! BTW, if I ever find clear stamps that don't accept the ink I keep a toothbrush to hand and use it to brush over the surface a few times. Always seems to help and doesn't spoil the stamp ;) Hugs, Jo x

ahh Elise, I too will be using the bowl time as my own little Stamping Extravaganza!!! To hell with tightends and fumbles, I plan on loose fitting T's and distressing ink. I might partake of some chips and a beer, I wouldn't wanta go totally cold turkey. Baby steps...

sweet job with the cards darlin, you are any DT dream member. Your friend, Oz

Super fun cards!!!! Super cute stamps! I love what you did with the birdy sentiment.. Must do that... and the bird belly! FUN! Oh those colors! Reminds me of Sherbet..yum...

I must have the only DH on the planet who does not watch Foooootbaaaaall. SuperBowl is my annual sit on the couch and laugh time.. My sister and I call each other repeatedly during the commercials... Meaning, we do commercial recaps... We are the critics! I'm in Oregon, she is in Missouri...

I have two pizzas in the fridge.. Thank you Papa Murphy's! And gonna do the stampy/coloring thing during the game! But cant' miss the commercials!

Wow, you've been busy!!! Love all the creations! I'm not too into V day but I like making V day cards just cause I can he he... Superbowl... what what? Yeah, this dude asked me the other day if we're going to watch the game. I said: What game? I think he thought I was retarded or something but seriously I didn't know. Well I had hints here and there but I didn't pick up. I asked my colleague what she's doing for the weekend on Friday and she said she was invited to watch the game. I just casually said, oh and have fun. Last Wednesday I took my daughter to Awana, it's a Bible thing at one of the local churches, and the theme was "soup"erbowl. I thought they were being clever. Using that term to gather soup for the needy. Ha ha, was I stupid :P I'm just not a big sports person and we don't have TV at home - since M was born - and with selective news reading/listening I don't always know what's going on out there in terms of sports.

Have goodie!!
