You can leave the light ON!

That's right! It's day number THREE of W9's big SIX-MONTH-AVIRSARY ~ mega release extravaganza! And I'm keeping the creative light ON! And, in my mind, I'm hearing that guy who used to do the voice-overs for Motel 6... {I sure hope that was, at least, a NATIONAL ad campaign....} He used to say "I'm Tom Bodett, for Motel 6, and we'll leave the light on for ya!" It was most inviting, and his voice was simply hypnotic! It made the thought of crappy motel room coffee, the whirring of an ice machine {all night long} and paper-wrapped soap seem so homey and inviting...

I wonder if that's where Dawn got the idea for this fabulous sentiment?

I don't know... but she's got a BUNCH of 'em! CHECK OUT ALL OF HER NEW STAMPS! There are images and coordinating backgrounds and sentiments galore!!! On her blog, she's released all of the images for your viewing pleasure and SOON you'll be able to buy them for YOURSELF! Not to mention that you might WIN some, if you've been playing along... {!} And a little bird told me that Savitri's got some candy at her pad as well.... {Oh, we ARRRRRE fun! hee heeeee!}

Now that the top secret images are viewable, I must say that I got busy and mixed up SEVERAL of Dawn's new darlings, and even combined those AWESOME rays from Courtney's "You're A Dandy" {*Swoon!*}, some Design Basics: Backgrounds II, AND some of my favorite images from the new release from THIS set, Guiding Light! It was a FESTIVAL of the stamp in my lil' Scrapland today! I hope YOU feel the light and grab some of these babies while the gettin's good...

But if, for some odd reason, you're not TOTALLY convinced that Dawn's latest release is a "must have".... {hee hee} visit THESE happy and satisfied designers for more divine inspiration!

Give them some love and tell 'em I sent ya!
{I'm kidding.... ~sort of...!}

Just make sure that WHEREVER you go, you know that I'm HONORED that you stopped here! It never ceases to be a tremendous source of joy and continued creative momentum to know you've enjoyed my punch-drunk, but happy sharing of all things stampy, creative and FUN! THANKS, again!

YEE HAW!

Ha! That is too funny Elise, amazingly I had not thought of it consciously until now...and now will never forget it! Subconsciously, maybe that is where it came from though!

Now, can I just say that this is fricken amazing!! Seriously jaw dropping goodness! That lighthouse is so real looking, like I could just reach out and touch it, feel the warm surface where the sun is kissing the sides. I am in awe of all of the little details that make this a huge success!

A masterpiece again!!!!!
OK.. I recognize that Tom Bodett voice! I can hear him right NOW!
And, gosh, you forgot to mention the coin operated 'massage' beds! Maybe those were for 'certain' neighborhoods...

Holy moly!! (although I feel as though I should say "holy cow") Your scene is so awesome-the rays of light are going in my "to copy" file asap. I love the strip of the red at the bottom--what a perfect finishing touch.

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today, too! :)

I think I just about died. This card is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, Elise! Everything about it is truly stellar...the shading of the boat, the twine, the layout, it's all fabulous. This is definitely my most favorite Elise creation. :)
