I love the great papers you chose for this one! I'm a sucker for anything vintage, and I love love LOVE those little stick pins pushed through that big bow!!! So you're a jughead eh? That reminds me of those old Archie comic books! Wasn't Jughead a character in those? Wow! That goes back a LOOOOOOooooooong time ago!! LOL

Now that is one adorable card! My favorite part are the pearls around the little sentiment square.

You ARE wonderful Elise! I love your style and this card is no exception! It so reminds me of the 50's! Not that I was alive or anything but I do remember what my mom told me and the old shows I used to watch like Donna Reed! This card just brings me back! Love it girl!

This is totally a complete retro package...the DP, the image, the colors, the hat pins, grosgrain ribbon - and the sketch along with your retro elements - reminded me immediately of a pocket on an apron. This is so much fun!! So is that June and Ward Cleaver or Ozzie and Harriet? :)

Nancy in Iowa said...

Oh! And I forgot the PEARLS!! This card ROCKS! Or at least does a good ol' jitterbug!!!
