I made a card TODAY..

I know.

Alert the media... {*cough-cough!*}

Weird to put my hands to paper, ink and glue.... BUT WONDERFUL, no doubt! My first card after the official completion of New SCRAPLAND! Made me feel like this ~

Yee Haw!

Just a scrap of this delicious fabric, left over from my chicken wire/vintage cowboy print display project... Could NOT let it go to waste! And when I saw this delightful little sketch from Card Patterns... well, what's a good cowgirl to do?

PLAY ALONG! Yee Haw!

Good clean fun with PAPER and all of the glorious tools and trinkets that make our, crafty lil' corner of Blogland such fun! Thanks for visiting with me today ~ I hope you have a little ink around the edges in your own life! Yipeee

is that embossed cardstock saddle colored? I am so glad that you got to cut, paste, stamp and BREATHE today. I felt a disturbance in the force, a electrical tingle in the air, a 6.9 on the ricter scale! I came straight here to find the source. welcome back... now all is right in blogland again.

Hi there - I came to your blog from Lemon Drop's post on 2peas. I DO love your Scrapland, I just wanted you to know, AND I just have to know what the "chicken wire" thing is?? The green thing on the wall with what looks like tags and stuff and more stuff and goodness on it??? If you have time to answer, I'll check back - I've bookmarked you! karin c

Okay, girl.....YOU could go FIFTY years without touching anything creative (though, I do NOT recommend that.....it could cause serious, irreparable damage....not to mention, everyone who knows you would never recognize an Elise without creative....you two kind of go hand in hand!....but I digress...I'm good at that!! lol) and still come up with something Fun and Fantastic!!!! :>:>

Congratulations on creating your first card in your heavenly little corner of the scrapworld!! Can I have a big YEEHAW!!!!!!!!!!! :D
I'm always delighted to come see what you're up to! Your cheerful disposition and bubbly personality give me the lift I need! Your cards ain't bad either! *snort*
Seriously, this card is awesome and I hope you frame it and find a special place for it on the wall to remember the first creative project to come from Scrapland. I love the leathery weaving around the medallion. This card just perfectly showcases your joy with Scrapland! I'm happy for ya girl :)

I don't know ANYbody who yeehaw as much as you do. Do you have a drawl too? I mean each yeehaw I see I have to make myself do my country accent which my husband totally despise. I think he'd rather loose his hearing than listen to me try to do a country/southern accent (or any accent really).

LOVE your card! You do need though to put more stuff on it. You're only using .000001% of what's in ScrapLand! :)

Have a goodie yeehaw of a time there!!!
