Leftovers, ANYONE!?!

Every once in a while, I consider the growing bucket of LEFTOVERS that collect on my craft table... a button here, a stamped thing-a-ma-jig... a bit of ribbon, a heavenly strip of paper that makes my heart race... {I know, YOU know, what I'm talking about!!!}

I haven't had much time for "fresh" card craft this week, but here a little dilly that I basically just assembled from leftovers! {It works for DINNER! Why not card making!!! hee hee} It was fun and EASY and, thank goodness, I have a little something to share with you today... {!}

I've sent ONE child back to school, and I'm slashing things from my most LENGTHY to-do list {YEE HAW!} So here's one more share... forgive me - you've already seen a lot of this one fella, but I wanted to share the whole "herd" together!

Here's the completed, "Mac!"

And, finally{!}, his partner, "Tess!"

As of yesterday, they are officially, signed, sealed and delivered! {YEAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!} I hope to, ONE day, have a picture of them in the GORGEOUS, renovated home of their proud owner {she owns the REAL horses AND the paintings!}, but for now, I'll offer this picture I took quickly, before I delivered them -

The idea is that they'll hang within about 4 feet of each other, framed by their complimentary composition and background{*PHEW!*} ~ I'm DELIGHTED to have them finished and delivered!

So, thanks for indulging me in this FINAL share.... I'm hopeful that unloading these lovely creatures will free up my fine art gears to run a LOT faster!!! {Doh!}

Have a WONDERFUL day!

Can we get a YEEEEEEE HAW!??! Yay for you and your fine art journey with these lovely horsies. I remember when these paintings were just a glimmer in your artistic eye. They are quite impressive sitting side by side and I am so excited for you to be sharing them. So what's next for our painter girl?

And yay for card casserole! You know I love me some leftovers!

Your scrappy card is just adorable and I love when I can use scraps to create something! I think my scraps outnumber my stash these days! LOL
I'm just flabbergasted with these gorgeous horse images you painted! Your love of horses shows with every stroke of the brush in both of these magnificent paintings! The owner of them is quite fortunate to have them hanging in her home! You're SO talented with exceptional artistic skills and all I can say is YEEEHAW!!!! Keep on keepin' on!!!
