Just Us Girls - Technique Challenge, #132

Sliding in with some SUPER fun technique play, brought to you
by Just Us Girls, and our darling hostess, Lisa! It's a SUPER fun
way to add some rich, inky, single layer fabulousness to your
paper creations! Check it OUT, friends!

I got ALL inky with this lovely technique, thanks to
a VERY generous gift pack from the fine folks from
CLEARSNAP! I've loved their inks for as long as I
can remember, especially CHALKS! So it was SO easy
to get acquainted with these handy packs of stacked
cat eyes. I received handsome assortments of DYE

I used this fabulous piece of Dresden trim to create
a yummy border for my sponge/ink work.




I love the detail, easily captured, by carefully sponging along this
stunning border... By off-setting the edges, this Chevron
effect was created...{!} Direct to the background of this scrapbook
layout was a move that I probably WOULDN'T have tried without
this super challenge premise... Would YOU like to play with us?

I had SO much fun with this effect, I did it some MORE!
Same idea, but using this lovely Spellbinders shape, also received
recently thanks to some WONDERFUL cross promotional

I thought this technique was stunning and elegant,
like my LOVELY S.I.L. and dear brother who married
a few years back... I'm DEFINITELY going to use
this technique a few more times in completing their
album...
