GORGEOUS inspiration from Just Us Girls

I find myself being MORE inspired, with less, these days.  

I'm less reliant on crafty products, and more moved by 

a yummy color palette, shapes & texture... 

That is why, I simply LOVE photo inspiration from Just Us Girls! 

Not ONLY is this week's challenge, beautiful, but it's an elegant way for our

beloved, Andrea, to bid us farewell, as she steps down from our team.  {SNIFF!}

PHOTO CHALLENGE, Just Us Girls & Bling!

Dear Friends.

I don't like to over share about my personal life on my blog.  I've nearly given up throwing myself on your mercy.  APOLOGIZING for not being the friend I desperately intend to be... blah, blah, blah.  But lately, there are two little word that best describe me.  Two words that define my existence and TWO words that are my best excuse:

Dog paddling.

Yup.  THEY are perfect words.  Flawless, in fact.  Pretty much the past six months have been a sea of  life that is rocking and waving underneath like the strongest rip current, but in spite of EVERYTHING, I'm still here, dog paddling!  The good news - it means, I'm STILL here!

So, "YIPEE" is a wonderful NEW word, that I'm looking forward to embracing with ALL of my existence as I ponder the completion of the holidays, and a brand spankin' new year, sparkling with the luster of balance, possibility and mastery...  {I can HARDLY wait!}  

Consequently, this week's Just Us Girls PHOTO inspiration challenge is FABULOUS!

Oh, GOODNESS gracious, FRIENDS!  It's time for a Just Us Girls'

template challenge - and we're thinking M-O-M!

 

{ What a fortunate coincidence - I have a WONDERFUL mom! }

AND!  I have FANTASTIC materials and TOOLS...

so OFF to the races, I went!

All inspired by ATC art, scrapbooking and precious "findings",

I decided to make my sweet mama a little keepsake, with an

old image of she and... yours truly, from back in the day....

A delightful combo, influenced by the ever so darling, Pam.... Our

precious HOSTESS... for the last time... *sniff*   Pam will be stepping

down from Just Us Girls after this challenge.  She will be missed in 

more ways than I can list here... I hope you'll pop by her blog and give 

her some love!  She is a MOST gifted paper crafter & friend... but ever 

SO much more creative and important - she is a wonderful MOM!  I

have cherished being on this team with her.  THANK YOU, sweet 

PAMMYCAKES!  It has been an honor to create with you!

I'm not much good in 3D, {!} but I took a whirl, as a result

of Pam's lovely inspiration....  I even found an old school

acetate template from Plaid and Anna Griffin, for this bag!

In fact, I had SUCH a grand time, I called in the troops!

SALUTE!  The French General has reported for duty!

And WHAT'S a project without some BUTTON love?

It was easy to think "Mother's Day" with some FABUOUS new

stamps from Nina B. for the Craft's Meow... it's as if Nina KNOWS

my MOM! {Isn't that a GREAT sentiment stamp!} This project 

came together, quite joyfully!  But what would EXTEND my joy, 

considerably.... would be if YOU'D join us!  C'mon and play with
