How 'bout a lil' KISSING?

Or, in this case, a LOT of kissing! With a TWIST!

If you LOVES your stamps {I KNOW you!}... and you've been at it a while, you know
how AMAZING the results can be when a couple of fun loving stamps... KISS...

Am I right?

That juicy technique where you ink up ONE bold stamp... and the KISS it, with another, more detailed stamp... and THEN, you stamp the STAMPED/kissed stamp...

Anyway, it's a LOT of fun. {If you're new to stamping - just TRUST me on this!}

So, AS ifffff, I haven't got you twitching to ink up some stamps and play along,
let me share that THIS week, the lovely ladies of JUST US GIRLS
are all KISSING {!}..... with a TWIST!

All you have to do to play along is INK, stamp, twist and STAMP.... again!

*Phew!* If that sounds like a lot of work.... it's NOT!

In the bottom of my card, you see the mountains, that appear to be further off,
while the grassy, cacti foreground appears closer,
bathed in subtle highlights... Doesn't it look FANCY and a
little complex? It's nooooooooooooot! FIRST OF ALL, wipe the drool from your keyboard,
AREN'T THOSE STAMPS GORGEOUS! And YES, I just used them for a previous JUGS card!!!
{But I'm NEVER going to tire of the WESTERNY goodness and tidbits from the AMAZING
talent of Claire aka. WALTZING MOUSE STAMPS! ~ Meow! Or should I say, "YEE HAW!"
I'm so delighted that she designed stamps, just for a GIRL like me! heuck heuck!}
But I digress. I inked up thefar-off mountain range with a dark brown CRAFT ink...
and then stamped the cacti/grassybusiness in ESPRESSO dye ink -
DIRECT to the mountain stamp... And then I lightly twisted.
This produced the gap in color, which allowed my base card stock to peek through...

To say I was pleased with the results of KISSING with a TWIST, is an understatement!
But if you're even a LITTLE hesitant to give this fun technique a try, check out this
