I WANT2SCRAP!

I really do!

How do you define scrapbooking? Is it all about photos? Is it all about the STUFF? Is it all about ART?

For me - it pretty much means EVERYTHING I make with my hands... AND paper!
It's also about MY FRIENDS, my COMMUNITY, laughter and shared creative processes...

This weekend I had the privilege of doing ALL OF THE ABOVE! I am SO blessed to have some of the MOST amazing,
generous and fun community of folks to craft with. Seriously - SO kind!
{ So FUNNY! } Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE gets along SO beautifully - fits of laughter, spontaneous singing, collective searching for needed embellishment, inspiration or materials shared so selflessly... Oh, it's just SO fulfilling and FUN! I wish I could have YOU ALL here, too, but for now, I'll just send my best creative thoughts that WHEREVER you are, you have friends and "people" like my glorious community, here in Sonoma County: I'm a lucky GIRL!

All that AND.... MOJO!

AND, some terrific inspiration to play along with JUST US GIRLS,
who are showcasing a WICKED cool technique challenge this week:

{Adjust your sunglasses.... and get ready!}

Behold, the SPOTLIGHT!

I had the perfect paper in my stash for this clever and totally addicting technique.
PLUS, I couldn't resist the idea of of highlighting my "spotlight" with some of my
brand new "Nestabling", self adhesive rhinestone collection
{these shapes that coordinate perfectly with specific Spellbinder's dies, will be available for purchase after April 1st},
by Want2Scrap!

EDITED TO ADD: I'm SO excited to have been FORMALLY introduced at Want2Scrap today!
THANK YOU, for the darling & wonderful welcome, I am HONORED! Yee Haw!

{Oh, YES! This does make me Want2Scrap!}

So, I kept going!

Got ALL crafty ...

You could say,

I got my BLING on!

Paper flower "exploration" with the sparkly punch of self adhesive Want2Scrap pearls
and vintage MICA powder from Beachfleamarket {on Etsy!}

Shopping from MY STASH of why did I save this thing, again?

{Ohhhh, YEAH!}

And a little swooning over two of my SWEETEST hearts...

Good, old fashioned fun, and WAY crafty material!

Gratitude for things that Tim Holtz shares, so GENEROUSLY...
{I *heart* tissue tape!}

I "love" my oldies, but goodies, and most innovative materials...
{thanks, Crop-A-dile, for making metal punching, easier THAN ever!}

My heart is full, now that I know EXACTLY where to get the best BLING - ever!

Can you hear me purring? There's just something SO satisfying about mixing A LOT OF stuff
and a favorite photo... Way old and BRAND NEW materials.... Ahhhhhh, good FUN!

So FABULOUS to have just the right thing-a-ma-bob!

And never discount a GREAT friend who might share felt scraps and fantastic flower crafting technique!

Layers of distressed, glimmered, shabbied and glittered goodness.....!

Tying it all together with VINTAGE twill from MIL's sewing box! {*Swoon!*}

And the satisfaction of a family keepsake and decor to treasure!

Yeeeee HAW!

Good fun! Good craft! GREAT friends & high quality blog sharing=

HOPE YOU HAD JUST AS FABULOUS OF A WEEKEND, FRIENDS!

Thanks for sharing a snippet of it with me!
