I got ALL inky with this lovely technique, thanks to
a VERY generous gift pack from the fine folks from
CLEARSNAP! I've loved their inks for as long as I
can remember, especially CHALKS! So it was SO easy
to get acquainted with these handy packs of stacked
cat eyes. I received handsome assortments of DYE
and chalk inks... Want2Scrap® is a cross promotional
partner with Clearsnap, so THANK YOU! {!} Two
GREAT companies - ONE happy crafter! Yipeeeee!

I used this fabulous piece of Dresden trim to create
a yummy border for my sponge/ink work.
I love the detail, easily captured, by carefully sponging along this
stunning border... By off-setting the edges, this Chevron
effect was created...{!} Direct to the background of this scrapbook
layout was a move that I probably WOULDN'T have tried without
this super challenge premise... Would YOU like to play with us?

I had SO much fun with this effect, I did it some MORE!
Same idea, but using this lovely Spellbinders shape, also received
recently thanks to some WONDERFUL cross promotional
efforts from Buttons Galore & More - {THANK YOU, Spellbinders +
BG&M!} This was SUCH a complimentary look for my page!
See WHAT I mean? {God Bless AMERICA - I LOVE playing with ink!}
An uncharacteristically simple, and FLAT scrapbook page
from the "E-ster" - Don't adjust your screen... {!}
I thought this technique was stunning and elegant,
like my LOVELY S.I.L. and dear brother who married
a few years back... I'm DEFINITELY going to use
this technique a few more times in completing their
album...
And THAT'S....
... a PROMISE!
Thanks for letting me share this fun project!
Hope to see you on the JUST US GIRLS challenge blog!
