Hope, Faith and Happiness, it's a terrific sentiment to exemplify the
feelings I have after attending an even like CHA, and a super and
useful, sentiment stamp, from Dawn's new set, Folkart Floral tags.
Framing in that lovely sentiment, is a stunning wreath image,
cradled in {My FAVORITE!!!} a scallopy circle DIE - CUT,
Circle Stackers 1. Yes, friends - I said "Circle Stackers!"

{Oh, you're gonna LOVE that die cut set!}

THIS is another fantastic offering, with OH, so much creative possibility!
So many images to stamp! AND... dies! {Sooooooooooo many dies!}

Live from CHA!

For my latest Buttons Galore & More Post, click here!
For my latest Want2Scrap© post, click here!!!

Helloooooooooooo, friends!

I'm so excited to be reporting to you live from CHA!
{I'm HERE! I'm HERE! I'm REALLY here!}

Everything was sparkling and amazingly "L.A.", on Friday morning
when we checked in, here at the Anaheim Convention Center!
The architecture is stunning, while the weather is a perfect match:
not too hot and not cold at all! Palm trees EVERYWHERE,
our hotel is nice and close to the event... Joy! Joy! Joy!

So many things to share, but hard to know where to start...
...Okay, here's one!
Saw my, first ever, in REAL life, flash mob! Hil-ar-i-ous!

Attended the CHA breakfast and schmoozed with the BIG WIGS!

Got SO teary when Nikki Sivils received a "Service to Humanity" award,
for her amazing efforts to share craft supplies and support with the
dear folks of Joplin, Missouri, post tornado... {I'm STILL teary!}

MORE tears for this fabulous service woman and humanitarian,
Clara Vargas. I had not heard of her cause, but was SO moved
by the story! I hope you'll check out her site to bring aide, in the
form of clothing and blankets to Afghanistan -
but PLEASE read her story, here!

Additionally, it was fun to see and hear from the C.E.O.'s of
Michael's, Archiver's, the owner of DCWV, and some other
esteemed V.I.P's of this industry - I was riveted! {Seriously!}
The owner of PLAID was given the BIG award of the event,
he seemed positively genuine. Fun to see this industry
from that perspective! Lots to absorb!

But it wasn't ALL business, business!

FELT - has taken on a whole new level of love for me!

ONE little make-and-take and I am HOOKED!

Cute, cute, cute!

So MUCH to see and share! I'm going to cut it short so I can
get busy, but I had to share some goodness with my best of bloggy
friends - HOW desperately I wish you ALL were here!!!

I'll be back SOON with lots of eye-candy, less jabbin'!

Miss you!

Whewhoooooo! {THAT'S fun!}

And speaking of FUN! Here's some VERY cool highlights from my
wonderful trip to CHA last week! You've probably already heard about
some of the INCREDIBLE booth displays, but friends... the paper artistry...{!}
It still makes me a little weepy! These dress forms were positively THE most exquisite
use of paper I HAVE EVER SEEN! I have assembled a few of my very favorites,
where my photography skills didn't let me down....{!} If you didn't have the pleasure
of attending, I hope you will enjoy some shots from the SHOW! No need to call your tailor -
I'm sure you'll see why ONE SIZE FITS ALLLLLLLLLLLLL!

This runway scene, put on by DCWV, was the stuff REAL runways must be made of!

To gaze upon these stunning creations in real life made me feel like a lucky,
front row attendee at the hottest show in town.

NOT only is my tail wagging at the dynamic use of paper, but I'm looking
at my DCWV stacks in a whole, new light!
These fine folks took paper crafting
OVER the top!

I'm planning to see these again, AT A FINE MUSEUM!

Seriously! GOT FLAPPER?

My daughter's Easter Dress! {Wasn't she SO generous to share it for the show!}

I think we'd consider this one for her sweet 16...
{We'll be fielding offers for the next six or seven years - but it's good to be prepared!}

Paper flowers - a WHOLE different post - SERIOUSLY!

I won't even let the little girl SEE this one!
{Beware - the splendid use of PURPLE!}

So glad we're not HERE yet, but for REAL teenage girls -
Once BITTEN... {Oh, dear!}

Dress form, dress form, dress form -

the NEW canvas....

for PAPER CRAFT!

Not just for dresses!

Some are for ANGELS!

And STUFF!

I'm CERTAIN I didn't come close to capturing them all,
but in case you haven't had a chance to see some of the show's highlights,
I sure hope you'll enjoy these EXQUISITE pieces!

Thank you, SO much, for stopping by!
I'll be back soon with more treasures from my journey!

but they have some great give-a-ways and ideas a - plenty!
Having had the privilege of meeting the Want2Scrap lovelies in person, at CHA last week, I'm even MORE excited to be able to share the wonders of their gorgeous product line! At the show they introduced their partnership with Spellbinder's and a unique line
of sticky-back bling, EXCLUSIVE and custom patterned to match Nestabilities dies.

{HOW CLEVER IS THAT IDEA!?!}

I thought this card would be a fitting piece to celebrate my very first, post as a Want2Scrap gal...

And HOW perfect is the timing {?} my darling friends from the Just Us Girls challenge site are being sponsored by Want2Scrap this week, so, clearly, many of my favorite creative worlds are colliding!

Check out this fun sketch for this week's challenge - it's a beaut!

I hope you'll go by there and consider joining this week, especially if you haven't in a while! I can assure you that the prizes will be worth the effort.... AND, the JUGS gals are some of the MOST creative and kind gals around! BTW: Don't try to adjust your set if you think you're seeing double: DANA from Paper Daydream is a designer for both the JUGS & Want2Scrap!
If you recognized her card from the sample with the Want2Scrap CHA booth,
be sure to check out her fantastic tutorial on paper "Peonies" + Want2Scrap Nestabling!
{I *heart* that girl! - She's SO crafty!}

So, yes indeed! This was a very exciting post! Since I didn't want to overwhelm you, I'm going to wait until tomorrow to post some CHA recap photos... February Release - GROUP POST!

For a chance to win something (*wink!*) from my first EVER blog candy, give me a little love right here!

I love, love, love new release time.

I love how we get to slowly treat you to glimpses of Dawn's latest designs, bit by bit, card by card... She's GIVIN' stuff away and we're having much fun, linking up and showing off and most of all, getting some SERIOUS stamp ONNN, in order to inspire you bigger and better than ever before....

But the best {selfish!} part, is that I'M the one who's all inspired! I adore the responses from y'all, so much! I love seeing how each of the W9 girls interprets these stamps and uses them in their particular style, then MORE inspiration, MORE fun, and I'm just sayin'... It's SUCH fun!

My final card for this release, my look, uncharacteristically simple for me. But it was a PROCESS card - a symphony of MANY stamps from this release and a whole lot of fun! I hope you like it!

I really was mesmerized by the whole, old school, postal theme that was happening in these stamps. The images, the words, the fact that these stamps are created for the endless possibility of combining within each other for ENDLESS creative fun... {Oh, I love this sport!}

Anyway, here is a little bit of my masking fun that helped me get the look I was dreaming of...

I can't EVEN express how much I love the Tim Holtz masking material. {But I REALLY love it!}

I invested my time in getting the large dogwood image done with the clear mask, and now I'll have it to use again and again! For the extreme detail of the cardinal and butterflies I did use post-it material, but I reserve the right to make MORE with the clear mask in the future - this would be great for a card or image that you will make multiple times, for SURE!

Here's some detail from these TERRIFIC stamps that play together, flawlessly!

You might know that I love "eyes" in my creatures. I couldn't resist giving this guy some extra sparkle in his all-knowing look,
by adding dimensional adhesive - don't look away, he might blink!

I love a good chance to color and enjoy a little easy water color fun...
So now I have to swoon about the color-izing potential of Flora & Fauna - SO MUCH FUN!

I hope you'll take some time to visit the Wplus9 site for all of the details
and hopefully to PURCHASE these fine, fine images!
The rest of the DT's cards are featured and I hope you'll spin buy and give them some love!
It's always a treat to see what everyone does with these fun stamps!

Dawn

Thanks, AGAIN, for your interest. I am THRILLED to be sharing the beauty of Dawn's stamps with you and your kind comments just make my day! I'll be back from CHA late tonight, but I will have ALL kinds of goodness and excitement to share -

Thanks again for letting me share the fun!
