Shine, GRADUATE!

There's not much more that's WONDERFUL to behold,
than the hope and possibility of a new graduate's fresh face....!

{No matter HOW fresh!}

Even a PINT-SIZED graduate can have stars in their eyes!
Mine was so cute, I couldn't sandwich this memory into an
ordinary scrapbook - so I embellished some of my favorite
captured moments with BUTTONS!!! But not just ANY buttons:

I festooned THIS memory with buttons from my
MOST treasured source for buttons, ribbon and charms...
BUTTONS GALORE AND MORE!

For MORE glorious details on EXACTLY how I made this
scrumptious piece of memory keeping, and access to the greatest
button shopping source in all of blogland, I would
LOVE it for you to check out my complete post at the super
craftilicious spot for button-craft, Buttons Galore & More!

Lot's more details to behold OVER THERE! So I hope you'll check it out
and LET THEM KNOW you've visited! They need to know
I'm leading your on your OWN journey towards the STARS!

Details, Details....

It's all in the details!

My FIRST, ever {!} giveaway! Finally - the details! Check out the goodies!
If you haven't left a comment here or become a follower {and don't forget to tell me, HERE...!}
I sure hope you will! I'm new to all of this giveaway business,
but I'll run a random generator for all of the comments....
and post a winner on Friday! {February 11th}

Whewhoooooo! {THAT'S fun!}

And speaking of FUN! Here's some VERY cool highlights from my
wonderful trip to CHA last week! You've probably already heard about
some of the INCREDIBLE booth displays, but friends... the paper artistry...{!}
It still makes me a little weepy! These dress forms were positively THE most exquisite
use of paper I HAVE EVER SEEN! I have assembled a few of my very favorites,
where my photography skills didn't let me down....{!} If you didn't have the pleasure
of attending, I hope you will enjoy some shots from the SHOW! No need to call your tailor -
I'm sure you'll see why ONE SIZE FITS ALLLLLLLLLLLLL!

This runway scene, put on by DCWV, was the stuff REAL runways must be made of!

To gaze upon these stunning creations in real life made me feel like a lucky,
front row attendee at the hottest show in town.

NOT only is my tail wagging at the dynamic use of paper, but I'm looking
at my DCWV stacks in a whole, new light!
These fine folks took paper crafting
OVER the top!

I'm planning to see these again, AT A FINE MUSEUM!

Seriously! GOT FLAPPER?

My daughter's Easter Dress! {Wasn't she SO generous to share it for the show!}

I think we'd consider this one for her sweet 16...
{We'll be fielding offers for the next six or seven years - but it's good to be prepared!}

Paper flowers - a WHOLE different post - SERIOUSLY!

I won't even let the little girl SEE this one!
{Beware - the splendid use of PURPLE!}

So glad we're not HERE yet, but for REAL teenage girls -
Once BITTEN... {Oh, dear!}

Dress form, dress form, dress form -

the NEW canvas....

for PAPER CRAFT!

Not just for dresses!

Some are for ANGELS!

And STUFF!

I'm CERTAIN I didn't come close to capturing them all,
but in case you haven't had a chance to see some of the show's highlights,
I sure hope you'll enjoy these EXQUISITE pieces!

Thank you, SO much, for stopping by!
I'll be back soon with more treasures from my journey!

I've got my {FISH} eye on YOU!

Always watching... ALWAYS watching!

That's the look of any well-drawn fish, in my opinion, and that's what I think is so cute about these fish by Kerrianne from WPLUS9designstudio... {Adorable!} Can't stop playing with these babies and I recently thought of a really cute & fun way to make use of these images and sentiments all in one fun, interactive card! Just for fun, I thought I'd toss this fish in with the Moxie Fab Cute & Fun Challenge!

Every good fisher-person knows that the way to win the prize is with good spinnin' action - and I couldn't agree more! The left side of the card is the "spin" side...!

On the right side is the "window" of fun! {The BUSINESS end of the card!} Check out the assortment of surprises that await the unknowing recipient of this lil' keeper......

#1) .... the bait

#2) ...the switch!

#3) ... Set the HOOK!

#4) WIN the prize! The lunker! The old Grand Dad of Lake Owonnahavu-fr-eva!

Of all the fish on the sea.... I'm hooked on all-o-you! {Who else would accept my silly humor!}

I hope you like this zany lil' card! I had a ball making it! I just kinda let those fish SWIM and let me tell ya, the water was FINE! Yee Haw! {THAT'S RIGHT!} Here's hoping that you're having some splashing good fun this weekend! Whoooopeeee!
