Don't adjust your set!

It's a T-R-A-V-E-L card! From ME!

{I know!}

The girl who never goes ANYWHERE! I made a travel card!

What IS the reason for this anomaly, you might ask?

Ummmmm - TRAVEL! {I'm LEAVING......!}

AND

I loved this sketch, and the fabulous samples by the lovely CARD PATTERN'S crew!

{Okay, not RIGHT nooooowwwww! In MAY!}

Thanks to the generosity and thoughtfulness of my DARLING mother,
my kids, Mom and I, will be flying the friendly skies, to visit
FAMILY, back EAST! Far, far, AWAY!

So, I was inspired to touch materials... that I ALWAYS hoard,
and rarely use,... Ya SEE! THAT'S WHY WE HOARD - for "just in case!"

*Phew!*

THANK goodness I got these stamps, way back when,
never used them, but HAD 'em for THIS card!

{THANK goodness...! AMEN!}

Wherever you ARE and whatever you do, I pray for YOU:
have the RIGHT materials, for the RIGHT job....
So, that you, too, can rest easy, when your head hits the pillow tonight,
or ANY night, after you answer the creative call with the RIGHT materials
at the right time.

Bon Voyage!

September RELEASE finale!

And some REALLY, really happy mail!

First... a last card...

Well, certainly, not LAST as in forever... THIS STAMP SET IS A KEEPER!!! If you've been following this release, via Dawn, and the other W9 cuties, no doubt you've heard each of us remarking about the exceptional fun we've had with this particular set. {It's not that Dawn's other sets aren't wonderful - THEY ARE!!!} I guess it's just that... a girl loves FLOWERS! And these will work whether you've got a brown OR a green thumb... a seasonal allergy... or whatever! It's hard to deny that these flowers, the sentiments included, and the accessories {ie. leaves, flower buds, line and bold graphics... } ~ are ALL purpose! Indeed!

Here's some shots of the fun I had "enhancing" some D/P and making some of my own...

Although you can't really see it in the final photo, I stuffed my little envelope with some happily stamped vanilla card stock! {Gosh, I need to remember to let the stamps out in the pasture more often!} Making background paper and just stamping like a maniac is a good time!!!

All assembled an READY to send out HUGE congratulations and lots of love.......

I definitely got my "girl - on!" for the pre-release celebration, but once the dust settles, you can bet I'll be kicking out some horsey-lovin' western art with this baby - you JUST wait! {Yee Haw!}

Check out the rest of the wonderful WPLUS9 team and dust off your credit card ~ THIS set is available for purchase, as of September 1st... I, for one, will be THRILLED when I see this set sprinkled out around Blogland... I KNOW some excellent cards are up your sleeve - Yahoooo!

This has been SUCH a fun release event. For me, it was a terrific excuse to really get my stamp ON!!! And - it worked! I've had a blast! Thank you for visiting me throughout the fun ~ I love it!!!! But, before I go..., and speaking of LOVE....

Do you spy that DARLING "spooky" purple backed spider web? THAT unbelievably fabulous and Halloweenish card was done by my FIRST friend of Blogland - Rosie! {She's a cover girl!} I'm SO proud of her, I can hardly see straight! Not only is her work on the cover, but lookeee:

She's a contributing WRITER! {SHE'S A WRITER!!!! Do you HEAR me! - a FOR REAL writer!}
{*Wink~Wink!*}

I'm so giddy and thrilled, I'm seriously a lil' weepy as I type this. Rosie is one of the most prolific and tenacious card crafters I have ever known! Her blog is updated almost daily and she has a pub list longer that my barn! Included in my happy mail was THIS card, she sent to me... {*Swoon!*} YOU BET I'm settin' taller in my saddle and crooning a lil' "come a ya kai yai yai yeh, come-a-ta yippity yai yeh... get along... get hip little doggies..." Mmmmm hmmmm. That's ME! {hee hee} Rosie knows exactly how I roll ~ THANK YOU, dear!

So, after all that... {I'm SO proud of my friend!}

THANK YOU ALL! "Our corner" of Blogland is the best! Have a great day!

This AIN'T my first rodeo!

Well, it "ain't!" Tee Hee I'm no "spring chicken" myself! With that said, you might have noticed that I'm a sucker for a little bit of "country!" And I'm at it again! Armed with my new stamps from TJ Designs, Rodeo Sweethearts, I decided to tackle Dawn McVey's latest color challenge and tie it in with this week's CPS #121 sketch challenge... I always look at challenges based on "how WESTERN can I make that combo/composition look?" For your consideration, I'm at it again:

Behold ~ Dawn's delicious color combo!

Aren't these Rodeo Girl's just delightful! I'm SOOOO in love with these images! The western, the vintage, the possibility!!! I wasn't sure I could BEND these ideas to match Dawn's challenge, but then I peeked at what my mega crafty friend, Dana did for the challenge... I was good to go! Giddy up!

Here's the CPS sketch, but I tweeked it a bit by working my card from a horizontal perspective!

So, that's my card, Rodeo Sweethearts of Blogland! I hope you like AND if you do, YOU KNOW that I always love to hear a little somethin' about it! I ALWAYS appreciate your feedback and readership {if we can call it that!}.. Have a great day!
