True Friends ~ JUST US GIRLS!

{*Swoon!*}

Not only are my JUST US GIRLS true friends, but the girl that "brings it all home"
for little me... My FIRST friend, made and discovered from this wonderful place
I love to call "Blogland".... ROSIE - the AMAZING....{!} is this month's honorary, JugHead!
In other words - our GUEST DESIGNER, extraordinaire! Yee Haw! Welcome, Rosebud!

{I am looking SO forward to her beautious inspiration, with JUG-specific, challenge fun!}

A "true friend-ship" card seemed SO appropriate - {!}
easy to adapt ANY theme to our terrific sketch, brought
to us by the ever-so-inspiring and talented, Kathryn!

What a GREAT composition! I had SUCH fun playing with some paper that I'm
TOTALLY diggin' right now! {Hmmm? October Afternoon? Cosmo? O/A? Cosmo?}

Oh, I know: October Afternoon! ~ you didn't see THAT coming... heh heh

Hee Hee!

I ALWAYS look forward to designer paper with an old school children's book flavor!
Love, love, LOVE these characters! I just dabbed a bit of water color to match this
scrumpdidilyicious paper collection - SUCH fun! Such a HOOT to play with this sketch!

But it's not A-L-W-A-Y-S about the fun: I REALIZE that.
Sometimes it's about the BEAUTY!
Ya SEE!

"the" proverbial box, always leaves me applauding and demanding MORE, more...MORE!
It's going to be one incredible month in the Just Us Girls neck of the woods...
We have some SERIOUSLY inspirational challenges coming up for you:

September RELEASE finale!

And some REALLY, really happy mail!

First... a last card...

Well, certainly, not LAST as in forever... THIS STAMP SET IS A KEEPER!!! If you've been following this release, via Dawn, and the other W9 cuties, no doubt you've heard each of us remarking about the exceptional fun we've had with this particular set. {It's not that Dawn's other sets aren't wonderful - THEY ARE!!!} I guess it's just that... a girl loves FLOWERS! And these will work whether you've got a brown OR a green thumb... a seasonal allergy... or whatever! It's hard to deny that these flowers, the sentiments included, and the accessories {ie. leaves, flower buds, line and bold graphics... } ~ are ALL purpose! Indeed!

Here's some shots of the fun I had "enhancing" some D/P and making some of my own...

Although you can't really see it in the final photo, I stuffed my little envelope with some happily stamped vanilla card stock! {Gosh, I need to remember to let the stamps out in the pasture more often!} Making background paper and just stamping like a maniac is a good time!!!

All assembled an READY to send out HUGE congratulations and lots of love.......

I definitely got my "girl - on!" for the pre-release celebration, but once the dust settles, you can bet I'll be kicking out some horsey-lovin' western art with this baby - you JUST wait! {Yee Haw!}

Check out the rest of the wonderful WPLUS9 team and dust off your credit card ~ THIS set is available for purchase, as of September 1st... I, for one, will be THRILLED when I see this set sprinkled out around Blogland... I KNOW some excellent cards are up your sleeve - Yahoooo!

This has been SUCH a fun release event. For me, it was a terrific excuse to really get my stamp ON!!! And - it worked! I've had a blast! Thank you for visiting me throughout the fun ~ I love it!!!! But, before I go..., and speaking of LOVE....

Do you spy that DARLING "spooky" purple backed spider web? THAT unbelievably fabulous and Halloweenish card was done by my FIRST friend of Blogland - Rosie! {She's a cover girl!} I'm SO proud of her, I can hardly see straight! Not only is her work on the cover, but lookeee:

She's a contributing WRITER! {SHE'S A WRITER!!!! Do you HEAR me! - a FOR REAL writer!}
{*Wink~Wink!*}

I'm so giddy and thrilled, I'm seriously a lil' weepy as I type this. Rosie is one of the most prolific and tenacious card crafters I have ever known! Her blog is updated almost daily and she has a pub list longer that my barn! Included in my happy mail was THIS card, she sent to me... {*Swoon!*} YOU BET I'm settin' taller in my saddle and crooning a lil' "come a ya kai yai yai yeh, come-a-ta yippity yai yeh... get along... get hip little doggies..." Mmmmm hmmmm. That's ME! {hee hee} Rosie knows exactly how I roll ~ THANK YOU, dear!

So, after all that... {I'm SO proud of my friend!}

THANK YOU ALL! "Our corner" of Blogland is the best! Have a great day!

So many friends....

SO LITTLE TIME!

Ain't it the truth! Oh, it's good to live and blog in a community full of such wonderful friends... I consider myself incredibly blessed! Even more, since I entered the blog-o-sphere, nearly ONE year ago {*gasp!*}...

I made a card with this, super-delish image from Dawn at WPLUS9 design, while thinking of friends with whom I NEVER seem to have enough time to catch up with, or shower with the type of thoughtfulness and tokens of love that I IMAGINE I should...

I stamped this glorious {and FUN TO STAMP!} tree image (from FUNKY FOLIAGE by Dawn Woleslagle - see her website for more info!) and just thought of the beauty and possibility in this fabulous design.... reminded me of y'all! AMAZING! Soooooo much potential in us all... so many different looks, likes and unique imprints we all make... It never ceases to fascinate me...

{Astonishingly clean and simple!} Some of you ROCKSTARS, who I adore, and who are routinely elegant and flawless in your use of clean, crisp images, can rest assured - YOU'VE INFLUENCED ME!!! And I love it! Golly, gosh, Blogland is a great place!

Speaking of great, I have to give a major SHOUT OUT to my darling and cherished friend, my FIRST friend, whom I was blessed to find, exclusively as a result of blogging, Rosemary! She is a wonderful, prolific and GORGEOUS card crafter and a dear, DEAR friend ~ in Blogland AND real life! She recently sent me this uplifting card, that found me during a particular challenging time ~

Ultimate success - a card that was flawlessly crafted and SENT IN THE MAIL to a friend who needed something special {and let's face it, NOT a bill!} in the old MAILBOX... Oh, Rosie GIRL, you're the BEST!

Anyway, F R I E N D S! I hope you enjoy these "friend inspired" images and have yourself a terrific rest of your day!
