Wplus9 Design Studio - June/July Release 2013 - GROUP post!

It thrills me to be a part of Wplus9 Design Studio, on too many levels to possibly express.
It's been YEARS, and Dawn Woleslagle feels like family to me.  I've ridden the waves of
her many, MANY stamp and product releases, and it continues to be a surprising RUSH
of joy and satisfaction.  {I LOVE her vision, her OUTPUT and her constant drive!} So,
I must sound QUITE repetitive, but HONESTLY, is there a higher compliment to Wplus9,
than to declare that everything just gets BETTER with time?!?  I'm SO happy to be involved
with ANOTHER group release  - there is just SOMETHING about seeing the team come
forth with their best of Dawn's products...   AND this is the DAY!

So, here I go!  SCRAPBOOK PAGE goodness with Wplus9 Design Studio!

I LOVE showcasing Dawn's products through different media, especially scrapbooking!

It means and extra amount to me, personally, because stamping was my first "thing!"
QUICKLY, followed by scrapbooking.  When I was new to scrapbooking, I avidly
signed up for classes and bought PRODUCT like there was no tomorrow!  But, as
I hoarded collected supplies - I kept THINKING, why can't I stamp ON my pages?
Local stores carried BOTH stamps and scrapbooking products, but rarely, did the
two "mix."  Finally, I found a class on "stamping in on your scrapbook pages", but
I was devastated, when the first sentence from the instructor's mouth was, "the secret
to stamping on your scrapbook pages is...  there is no secret."

I was CRUSHED.  We "copied" a page she had done, with some stamping here and
there, but it was NOT what I craved.  In the years that followed, I combined the two
AS MUCH AS I POSSIBLY could, and even taught classes AT the same store!

I find that Dawn's stamps {AND dies!} translate, flawlessly from card making to scrapbooking!
They are FUN and easy to use, the various sizes and dimension make them SO useful to customize
backbrounds, create EMBELLISHMENTS and TELL THE STORY!  In this case - the story is
about "Auntie Cow", our beloved friend, and I am DELIGHTED with the results!

The "secret" to enhancing scrapbook pages with stamping is....  GREAT STAMPS!
And GREAT materials!  Wplus9 Design Studio is ALL that, my friends!  ALL THAT!

I hope you think so, too!  But, for MORE inspiration, you will DEFINITELY want to
check out DAWN'S BLOG, and the rest of the Wplus9 Deisgn Studio Team!  THEY
are SOOOOOOO talented and inspiring - it's like the PERFECT storm of creativity!

Thank you, SO MUCH, for sharing the excitement of Wplus9 Design Studio with YOU!
I hope you'll treat yourself to some SHOPPING - I KNOW you deserve it!

Wplus9 Design Studio - Group POST

Anticipation, satisfied.
Creativity, EMPHASIZED.
Inspiration, limitless.

Such is the nature of release time at Wplus9 Design Studio.

But AFTER the drama and excitement of the introductions,
AND the JOY and elation when the winners have been announced,
we, the proud designers of Wplus9 Design Studio, trot our wears on out,
one last time...  Just BECAUSE... we can... {!} hee hee

And BECAUSE, we're probably not ready to STOP!

It's the GROUP post, friends.  And WE aim to assure you that you mustn't
LIVE another day, without THESE STAMPS!  Get READY to BE inspired!

 Christina (our TALENTED guest designer!)

I used stamps from EVERY set in this release and JUST a few older gems,
just for good measure, to make this juicy, mixed media piece.  Meow!  This
project was SO inky!  So EMBOSSY!  So DIE cut!  And SO.  Much.  FUN!

I decided to play with Wplus9 rectangle dies, in sort of an ATC,
mosaic collage composition.  Each piece, inked, embossed and
GLUED to a 9 x 12" canvas, painted with neutral black & white,
simple vertical brush strokes of acrylic paint.  A nice sized platform
to feature a prized pict:  sort of a frame-worthy scrapbook page!

The stamps are, clearly, the main ingredient, but I selected several of
my FAVORITE Wplus9 dies to accent this treasured picture of the
sweetest lil' cowgirl I ever made...  Tee Hee - MY baby!  I don't know
about the rest of you, but Wplus9 products are SO versatile.  They are
equally at home, on a SCRAPBOOK project, as well as cards!  Even
owning TOO MANY electronic cutting machines, I still prefer to crank
dies through a press, than plug in, if I can avoid it.  Wplus9 dies are so
quick, clean and easy to use.  I LOVE how beautifully this mirrored
card stock cut for the word "lovely"!  Of course, the words are
"love, joy and hope", but the arch from the "h" easily made an extra "l",
and the "y" from "joy" was a given....  Now, I'm wondering what other
words I can make from this great die set!  LOL

Well, when you have the right tools for the job - sometimes they do
ALL the heavy lifting for you!  Hence, my love for Wplus9 Design Studio!

Hope you're feelin' it, too!

Now, run along!  Go ORDER!  :o)

Thanks, again, for sharing this fantastic release with me!

NEW bling and a Want2Scrap LAYOUT!

That's right, my FRIENDS - I used TWO very important words in
the SAME title ... "NEW bling" and "LAYOUT!" You definitely
read it correctly! {I made a SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT!}

If you and I have crafted together, in REAL life, you must know that
it has been extremely difficult for me to work on traditional layouts
for several years, due to a particularly painful situation that robbed
me of the spirit to create scrapbook layouts, the way I always had done,
avidly. But, thanks to unwavering support from my local
community, DEAREST friends and the valiant efforts of
ONE super woman,
who owns a wonderful independent Scrapbook store, I can,
at long last get BACK to the kind of scrapbooking, I love best.
{Thank you, HELENE! YOU are my SHEro!}

So, to compliment the recent return of MY MEMORIES {literally!},
It is with great delight that I share with you that I have, officially,
accepted the classification of "Scrapbook Layout Designer"
from the fabulous company, Want2Scrap®. There is a TON
of exciting news and developments, as well as TONS of new
product coming out of Want2Scrap® this year - I HOPE you'll
take some time to catch up with their blog, store and RELAUNCHED,
enhanced and BETTER THAN EVER new design team! Starting
April 1st - it ALL GOES LIVE!

But DON'T WAIT TO BE DAZZLED! It is my supreme hope
that you will visit my post at Want2Scrap®, RIGHT NOW,
to learn about all of the blinged out and HIDDEN details
of this love-filled Scrapbook LAYOUT!

{I REALLY want you to see it! Really!}

Have a SPLENDID day, and PLEASE check me,
gettin' my SCRAP onnnnnn, at Want2Scrap®!

Buttons Galore & a WHOLE lot more!

Here's a little something to HOARD about:

I know a FANTASTIC spot to shop for FABULOUS crafty embellies
and I'm so excited, I MADE SOMETHING to show off my new find!

Buttons Galore & More!

A most craftilicious place to find the bits, baubles and buttons to take your
craftiest output from super to duper - as in SUPER DUPER - in no time!

I have been given the honor of joining the "Button Bevy", Buttons Galore & More's
new design team and I am just a wee bit giddy! What a privilege... I will be joined
by some smokin' hot crafters and an AMAZING lady, Vicki, also known as
The Creative Goddess!
Just visit or two to her personal blog, or even if you
take a gander at her wonderful projects she's shared at BG&M, you
will bow down to her crafty ways, FOR sure! I am delighted to be crafting
beside SUCH a talented team, so HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTONS!

I'm READY to share!

After toddling through the BOUNTIFUL isles of BG&M -
I had an epiphany....SCRAPBOOKING!
A beloved, but horribly neglected department of my personal crafty output...
THERE are some super collections of embellies in a WIDE assortment of
themes... So I was even MORE inspired by the "wedding" goodies,
and immediately thought of my HORRIBLY neglected wedding photos......

Although my page boasts only a few pictures at first glance,
I made a SUPER easy mini book that will hide {A LOT!} of
pictures, but also, adds an exciting visual element to my single page L/O.
Inside, I created an accordion of photos to adhere to the inside of the book,
by laying out photos and coordinating the acclimation of pictures, front to back.
Secure with photo safe tape and attach pages in desired order. With a little
planning, this is super easy and creates a great, skinny book
that holds plenty of images.

Here's the fully embellished mini book! Buttons Galore & MORE, really does have more than
buttons! Check out that great wedding ring charm and felt flower! {Yeowza!} They have
all the craftiest treasures to make memories into WORKS OF ART!

Once I place this layout in a scrapbook album,
I'll simply remove a square of plastic from
behind the book, with a sharp knife and a mat {between the plastic
and the layout} and then glue the backside of the booklet directly to the
page, but OVER the page protector... {It's like hidden PHOTO treasure!}

I have twelve photos hidden in this booklet! Here's the pictures, pulled to the left...

And to the right!

This was SUCH a fun title and a super way to celebrate some
wonderful memories, that don't get enough attention ALL these years later!!!

"Memories of...

the day we said....

I do!" {*Sigh!*}

Now THAT'S how I like to button up my favorite memories!

I hope you'll check out my corresponding post at the BEAUTIFUL
Buttons More & Galore blog! I'm sharing a lot more details about my
button EMBELLISHING, mini book and photo medallion, so
please go by and leave a little love over there! Soon, I'll be back
with some more detail on those sneaky images peeking out of my dress
and HIDDEN journaling technique! I can't wait!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll look for you over at BG&M.... [no pressure!]..

Okay, a LITTLE pressure... LOL! I sure appreciate it, though!
